2018 Stinger We know our customers have been patiently waiting for more details about the Kia GT Concept, and DELLA Kia is happy to announce that the production model has finally debuted at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit! The five-passenger fastback sports sedan will be called the 2018 Kia Stinger and will be the highest-performance production vehicle in Kia history. The 2018 Kia Stinger will make its road presence known to everyone with an eight-speed rear-wheel transmission and two available turbocharged engines. Drivers can choose between the standard 2.0L Turbocharged Four-Cylinder Theta II Engine (255 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque) and the available 3.3l Twin-Turbo V6 Lambda II Engine (365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque). The Stinger radiates confidence and athleticism with a tiger-nose grille, LED headlamps, front air curtains, four exhaust pipes, and smooth underbody.  Inside the cabin, drivers will enjoy a seven-inch haptic touchscreen equipped with UVO, next-generation QuantumLogic™Surround Sound Technology, Head-Up Display, Smartphone Charging Pad, and Bluetooth® Hands-Free Operation. Niro Guinness World Record Think your last road trip was long? The 2017 Kia Niro just traveled 3,715.4 miles from Los Angeles City Hall to New York City Hall - and that’s not even the impressive part! The all-new Urban Crossover Hybrid Vehicle set a Guinness World Record® for lowest fuel consumption driving across the country from coast to coast. Wayne Gerdes and co-driver, Robert Winger only used 48.5 gallons and stopped for gas a total of 4 times! Last week, we told you about the Kia GT, a new concept by the brand. We promised to keep you updated, and at DELLA Kia, we keep our promises! Kia has announced that the Kia GT Concept, its very first sports sedan, will debut on January 8th at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. To build anticipation, Kia has launched a new website titled The Curve Ahead. Leading up to the debut of the GT, it will be releasing pictures and films to showcase the features and capability of the sports sedan. “The Curve Ahead is all about potential,” Kia explained. “The potential to clip every apex, and consume every straight. To take on each twist and turn with agility, speed and progressive design. When you think of sports cars, your first thought is probably not Kia, but all that is about to change! Kia will be releasing the 2018 Kia GT, a RWD Four-Door Sports Sedan that is aimed to conform quite a few performance enthusiasts of luxury brands. Kia will be using a new rear-drive platform. We also suspect they will offer the GT with a turbocharged 2.0L Four-Cylinder Engine and the turbocharged 3.3L V6 Engine, which delivers 340 horsepower. While you may be enjoying the Optima Hybrid, Soul EV, or looking forward to the 2017 Kia Niro, we’ve gotten word that Kia has some major plans for alternative-fuel vehicles over the next few years. Kia Europe CEO, Michael Cole, has revealed that Kia will be releasing at least 14 new alternative powertrain models, including a fuel cell model, by the year 2020 all over the world. The Kia Soul. It’s sleek. It’s sporty. It’s… self-parking? Yes, you heard that correctly. Kia is making a name for itself in the race to autonomy. Kia, who has predicted that half of all vehicles will be autonomous by 2030, is hard at work on their technology. The first autonomous Kia, a self-driving “Drive Wise” Kia Soul appeared at the CES 2016, but we’ve yet to see one in action. Since it arrived on the scene with its furry hamster friends back in 2008, the Kia Soul has been a hit with drivers of all ages. With style, an array of standard features, and a low price tag, what’s not to love? Now, the Soul has even more soul with a new powerboost from the 1.5L Turbocharged Engine, which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show last week. The engine offers 201 horsepower, which is a significant increase from the 130 horsepower in the base Kia Soul and 164 in the upgraded engine models. This engine will also be paired with a new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Other updates to the Kia Soul Turbo model include the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in the UVO infotainment system, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, and red accents.
